Mobile Bay National Estuary Program Establishes The
Coastal Estuary Restoration Fund

In response to the impending threat of the oil spill to our fragile ecosystem, The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program has set up the Coastal Estuary Restoration Fund with The Community Foundation of South Alabama to support projects that will restore the long term health of the water quality, living resources, habitats, and human uses of Mobile Bay and its estuarine environment.

Tax deductible contributions to the Coastal Estuary Restoration Fund may be sent to:

The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program was created by the Clean Water Act and funded by the U.S. EPA to coordinate actions to maintain the chemical, physical and biological integrity of our Nationally Significant Estuary. The program brings together government, industry, academia, grassroots organizations, and citizens to maintain water quality, populations of fish and wildlife,
critical habitat coverage and recreational activities in the estuary. For more information visit www.mobilebaynep.com
