This summer, the President is calling upon everyone – young and old – to participate in the economic recovery of our nation by serving in our communities. America is facing an unprecedented challenge and we all need to help build a new foundation for economic growth. From June 22 to September 11, United We Serve will engage Americans from coast-to-coast to help address community needs. It will take all of us working together to address critical needs in the areas of education, healthcare, clean energy, environment and community renewal.

United We Serve is an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency that improves lives, strengthens communities, and fosters civic engagement through service and volunteering.
