The summit will deal with Mental Health issues related to Hurricane Katrina relief and recovery. This is in partnership with the Interfaith Disaster Task Force and the Pastoral Mental Health Partnership. They are seeking to involve local churches in training and awareness on mental health issues in their community; and seeking to train pastors to respond to disasters in their community as “first responders” for emotional and spiritual needs following a disaster.
